If you browse blogs like I do looking for design inspiration or to see what new features you can add to your blog, you've likely seen many authors who use a service called Tweetmeme to provide for easy tweeting and tweetcounts of their weblog entries on Twitter. Tweetmeme integrates well within some services however, Typepad is not one of those services even though it's my personal blog platform favorite.
In order to use Tweetmeme on a Typepad blog, you must create a post and then click the Edit HTML tab within your post editor and paste the code at the beginning or end of your post. I've opted to include it at the end of my posts. I'm hopeful that Typepad will create a widget that does this automatically at some point in the future but for now, I'll keep the script readily available fpr copying and pasting at the bottom of my posts. Here's the link to the code: How to add a Tweetmeme button to your Typepad blog.
UPDATE: I'm now using Retweet.com. It works better than Tweetmeme for my purposes. You can see it in the posts that come after this one.
