Corvida makes a good point–just saying thank you to your customers instead of using social media to enhance their experience is wasting an opportunity to really connect in a meaningful way.

Social proof, tips, additional resources or other nuggets will reinforce their decision and minimize any buyer’s remorse–who knows, you might also get some additional exposure if they share the message with others; thank you’s are nice but they die after delivery.
