Great Article on Gear for Beginning Street Photogs

What gear works best for you is really a matter of style and functionality. I’m loving my GX-7 with an Oly 17mm f1.8 attached. If I’m traveling and want a few more options, I also carry my 45 f1.8 and 75 f1.8 with a flash in a compact sling bag. The E-M10 in this article is probably a good recommendation since I’ve had an E-M5 and currently own an E-M1. The lens choices are interesting. I find myself using my Oly 17 f1.8 most of the time and my and Oly 45 f.18 every now and then. I’ll consider getting the 25 f1.8–would be a nice intermediate focal length and round out the collection pretty well. The Voigtlander Bessa R is an interesting recommendation as many photogs are considering the Contax G2 for film use. The Contax appears to be a bit more expensive and may not be as simple to use. For bags, I’d go with a Billingham for the same price as the Zkin Champ but the Zkin’s do have a nice look.
